Your fee schedule needs to work, not just for your centre but also for parents. Good fee schedules strike the right balance between giving parents a service they are willing to pay for, with as much flexibility as practical, while being compliant with Ministry of Education funding conditions.

  • The different types of fees, and their pros and cons, and where your current fee schedule fits in
  • Examples of fee schedules that do not work well and how to update and review them both in terms of the technical changes to fees, but also working with parents to ensure their buy-in and minimal losses of enrolments
  • How to approach regular annual fee reviews and/or moving to new fee schedule or adopting a fee schedule for the first time.
