Gabby Dyet

Gabby is an experienced early childhood education leader, mentor, and curriculum specialist based in Aotearoa New Zealand. With over a decade in the sector, she has supported kaiako and teams through professional growth cycles, curriculum development, and centre-wide quality improvement.
Gabby is the creator of a new intentional teaching resource designed to help teachers make meaningful curriculum links across dispositions, play-based learning, and Aotearoa’s core ECE frameworks. Her work reflects a deep commitment to intentional, reflective practice — empowering teachers to lead with purpose and plan with clarity.
Through her platform, HeartLead NZ, Gabby brings together relational leadership, intentional teaching, and practical tools that help kaiako feel more connected to both their pedagogy and their professional responsibilities.
