I love the fact that there is a much more formative way of gaining insight into childs learning over a period of time rather than just observation then a murky learning story. The videos are awesome at breaking down different parts of the planning and assessment and talking about the underlying factors of interests rather than surface and sighted versions. 

I’ve learned that learning notes are a valuable tool for documenting and showcasing children’s learning progress. I also realised the importance of focusing on children’s learning dispositions, rather than just the activities or experiences themselves. When planning, I need to see myself as an integral part of the process. My teaching strategies play a vital role and should be intentionally considered and applied to support and extend children’s learning.
