About the presenter

Krystal Taiapa

Krystal (Ngāti Porou, Rongowhakaata) has been a teacher of te reo Māori in secondary schools and has designed and facilitate online Māori Language Courses for teachers and whānau. With a strong focus on meaningful integration of te ao Māori in ECE, she hopes to empower kaiako with understanding ‘what to know’ in regards to tikanga as well as practical strategies for progressive integration of te reo Māori.
