As educators, understanding, valuing, and including tikanga and Te Ao Māori in our practice and our everyday work with children is vital. But for many educators, knowing where to start, what to do, and feeling confident to try can be a barrier.

This short course created by kaiako and leader Shona Ua Marsh, is designed to support you as an educator to build both your knowledge and confidence, and to create your own whakapapa and pepeha. The aim is to empower you to include this new understanding into your practice in your ECE environment.

Full of practical ideas and resources, this course will help to build your confidence to include these elements of Te Ao Māori in your everyday practice.
