Mentoring Student Teachers Through Inquiry Cycles

Teaching inquiry thrives when curiosity is nurtured, questions are welcomed, and reflection is guided with intention. As Associate Teachers, you play a key role in coaching student teachers to think deeply about their practice and its impact on learners.

This webinar is designed for secondary mentor teachers supporting student teachers in the NZTC Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary). It focuses on how Associate Teachers can coach for curiosity — using purposeful questioning, observation, and feedback to strengthen teaching inquiry in authentic secondary contexts.
