What you are going to learn

Using a Professional Growth Cycle is required for assessment of Certificated Teacher’s practices in New Zealand (as of February 2021).

It's introduction marked a new era in reducing documentation overload for busy teachers, leaders, and managers.

However, the focus remains, on ensuring that all teachers are engaging in ongoing learning and development so that there is a culture of ongoing improvement in teaching.

This webinar supports teachers and those leading teachers to understand the process and purpose of the professional growth cycle and how it might be manageably implemented in your service.

In this webinar we discuss goal setting and inquiry as part of the professional growth cycle.

Many report that this webinar brings clarity to the process so that they feel inspired and energised to engage in their learning, rather than it feeling like a burdensome task.

Certificate of completion provided for your professional learning records.
