Tracking your learning through a Professional Growth Cycle

The Professional Growth Cycle (PGC) is more than just a requirement—it’s an opportunity to foster meaningful professional development without the burden of excessive documentation. Introduced in February 2021, the PGC streamlines assessment for Certificated Teachers in New Zealand, ensuring that ongoing learning and improvement remain at the heart of teaching practice.

But how can you make the most of this process in a way that feels manageable, engaging, and truly impactful?
