1-079 Recorded Webinar
Clearing the confusion around using NELP
Duration: Approx. 45 min
Although the NELP has been on our radar for several years now, there still appears to be considerable confusion about how and when to integrate it into our everyday work as teachers. This webinar will address that confusion, giving clear and definitive guidance about when and how NELP is required to be used and how else we might use it in ways that are meaningful (rather than just box-ticking and tagging because we think we have to).

In this webinar you will learn:

  • About the connections between the NELP and other top level documents such as Licensing criteria, Te Ara Poutama, Te Whāriki and the standards
  • How to use the NELP effectively in your strategic/annual planning
  • How to integrate the NELP in internal evaluation
  • When the NELP should not be a key focus
